Gout Makes Me Want to SCREAM!

I did not want to live another day with GOUT. Why does this happen to me? Surely with all of the modern advances in medicine and health care man kind could find a way to avoid GOUT. And, if it can’t be avoided then how can one get relief immediately?

Please tell me what works for you. Gout makes me want to shout, where can I get relief? NOW?

“Looking for Gout Relief”

Why do people with Gout tend to have varicose veins too?

Quick Facts about Varicose Veins

It is hereditary. Your chance of developing them is 40% if one parent has them and goes up to 90% if both parents are affected. They are twice as common in women and with each pregnancy the risk goes up. People who suffer from Gout often times develope varicose veins or spider veins. They are commoner as we age. Occupations with prolonged sitting or standing increase the likelihood. A medical grade compression hose  can help a lot. Most importantly, diagnosis and treatment has greatly improved in recent years. Saline injections and stripping are no longer the standard of care and everyone with varicose veins should have them “mapped” with an ultrasound exam.

Looking for a diet to minimize bouts of Gout

I have cut out so many things from my diet to prevent getting Gout. I still get gout and it hurts like, well Gout hell. I have removed from my diet food, supplements, drinks, including artificial sweeteners, HFCS, carbonated soft drinks & fizzy drinks , cigarettes , flour (white wheat), goat cheese, lamb, pastries & cakes from white flour, pork, sugar, beer (ok I didn’t), brown sugar, chocolate, coffee , custard with white sugar, jams, jellies, liquor (not), pasta, table salt refined & iodized, tea, turkey, breads white / wheat, white rice, and vinegar.

I am starting to wonder what’s worse. Being bored to death for lack of interesting and tasteful foods or getting Gout. But, oh my God it hurts!

There’s gotta be Gout relief out there somewhere.
